A master's thesis at the College of Education for Women, Basrah University explored the skills of literary criticism and their relation to analytical thinking among students of Arabic language departments.
The thesis, submitted by the student Batool Jaafar Kazem, aims to identify the skills of literary criticism and their connection to analytical thinking among students of Arabic language departments, as well as the research tools and community, and its samples.
The thesis highlighted the students' weakness in possessing literary criticism skills, this due to the lack of training the students receive in applying what they have learned in the subject of criticism to educational situations they encounter.
