Basrah University Organizes a Seminar Titled "The Crime of Genocide (Speicher as a Model)"
The College of Education in Al-Qurna at Basrah University organized a cultural seminar titled "The Crime of Genocide (Speicher as a Model)."
The seminar, presented by the lecturer Ali Badr Jabbar, aimed to reject extremist ideas, particularly ISIS, within the community to ensure that similar crimes are not committed in the future.
The seminar included an introduction to the crime in general, then examined it within the framework of international public law, highlighting its constituents and types internationally. Then addressed the concept of genocide compared to other types of international crimes and explored the historical extension of these crimes, leading up to the Speicher crime as a criminal model of genocide.
