Basrah University Provides Medical Services to the National Orphan Foundation in Basrah Province
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah has offered therapeutic and preventive services to the children of the National Orphan Foundation in Basrah Province as part of the community services provided by the college in the area.
Faculty member Sundus Abdul-Wadud stated that 35 children were received at the college's educational clinics, where their teeth were examined, necessary treatment was provided, and cases requiring further attention and follow-up were monitored.
She added that the children were guided and encouraged to take care of their oral health and become accustomed to receiving treatment and healthcare, helping to eliminate their fear of visiting dental clinics.
