Basrah University Holds a Lecture on Integrating Assessment and Evaluation with Feedback for the Educational Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on integrating assessment and evaluation with feedback for the third unit of the Teaching Methods course.
The lecture aimed to familiarize trainees with the concepts of measurement, evaluation, assessment, and feedback, as well as to introduce them to the various types of each.
Presented by instructor Naim Mankhi Auda, the lecture covered the definition of measurement, measurement tools, fundamental principles of evaluation, the relationship between assessment, evaluation, and learning (the Golden Triangle), types and levels of evaluation, significant shifts in how evaluation is conducted, models for using evaluation results, criteria for good evaluation, feedback, feedback tools, and how assessment and evaluation are integrated with feedback.
