University of Basrah Organizes a Discussion Session on Insect and Agricultural Robots and Their Importance
College of Agriculture at University of Basrah organized a discussion session on insect and agricultural robots and their importance.
The session, which was lectured by the lecturer Jinan Malik Khalaf, included the insertion of robots in the agricultural field and the explanation of modern technologies used, which are more accurate and works independently without human intervention and have many uses.
The session addressed the method of manufacturing robots to pollinate plants and can be equipped with sensors to move from one plant to another, without colliding with each other. With the spread of modern agricultural methods and the beginning of the emergence of the consequences of global climate change, the future of insects is exposed to unprecedented threats, and in preparation for this danger, these technologies were invented to confront the risk of extinction of bees and pollinators.
