University of Basrah Organizes Seminar on Investing in Medical Field Patents
College of Veterinary Medicine at Basrah University organized a scientific seminar on investing in patents within the medical field and the main reasons hindering this process.
The seminar aimed to provide an understanding of patents, intellectual property, and key international agreements related to the protection of inventions and innovations, along with ways to invest in these patents.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Wasfi Abboud Al-Masoudi, covered the essential requirements for a patent, showcased the experiences of some countries in Asia and Europe, and highlighted the significant companies that have invested in inventions. The speaker emphasized the economic and technological importance of investing in inventions in Iraq and reviewed proposals that could advance the field of investment for development and progress.
