University of Basrah Hosts a Lecture on Assessment and Feedback for Agricultural and Veterinary Specializations
Development and Continuing Education centre at University of Basrah held a lecture on assessment and feedback for agricultural and veterinary specializations as part of the third unit in the Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to enhance trainees' skills in assessment, evaluation, and feedback within the university educational environment. It also sought to equip them with both cognitive and practical expertise by employing blended learning mechanisms.
Dr. Alaa Tariq Abdulwahid delivered the lecture, covering the concepts of measurement, evaluation, and assessment, as well as their types and functions. The lecture also clarified the meaning of feedback, technology, and assessment. It aimed to provide trainees with the knowledge, tools, and methods related to measurement and feedback, empowering them to choose the appropriate means to verify these in the teaching process in general, and particularly in teaching agricultural and veterinary sciences.
