University of Basrah Organizes Mock Trial Sessions
The College of Law at University of Basrah organized mock court sessions for its students.
The mock court sessions aim to train students on legal pleadings and move from traditional education to education by practice, which qualifies them to work in legal institutions and law firms.
The court sessions, which were held under the chairmanship of Dr. Munqidh Abdul-Ridha Ali, included training students to understand, read and analyze the cases presented, in addition to supporting students' legal capabilities in researching and analyzing legal texts.
