University of Basrah Hosts the Representative Falih Al-Khazali, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshes
College of Agriculture at University of Basrah received the representative Falih Al-Khazali, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshes, in an expanded meeting to discuss the challenges facing colleges of agriculture across the country.
The Dean of College of Agriculture, Dr. Sarmed Ghazi Muhammad, reviewed the most important problems and obstacles affecting the course of agricultural education in Iraq and the challenges facing the sector, and the difficulty of implementing new projects.
The Dean and members of the College Council also presented some proposals related to College of Agriculture and supporting the private agricultural sector as part of its efforts to enhance the agricultural sector and develop colleges of agriculture in Iraq. The representative Al-Khazaali promised during the meeting to provide the necessary support to overcome these challenges, pointing out the importance of strengthening the partnership between legislative, executive and academic bodies to support the agricultural sector.
