Basrah University Organizes an Awareness Campaign Against Terrorism
The College of Veterinary Medicine at Basrah University organized an awareness campaign against terrorism and extremism.
The campaign aimed to educate university students about the dangers of intellectual, social, and political terrorism and to encourage them to take an active role in raising community awareness of the challenges and pressures exerted by suspicious sources, including certain targeted social media platforms.
The campaign included distributing informative brochures to help understand the risks of various terrorist ideologies and delivering lectures that emphasized the importance of reinforcing the efforts of civil society institutions, particularly educational ones, to educate and safeguard students against extremist ideas and practices that threaten the principles and ethics of society.
