Basrah University Organizes Lecture on Cholecystitis
The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on cholecystitis and its symptoms.
The lecture aimed to introduce the disease of cholecystitis and how to deal with patients suffering from it.
Presented by Dr. Ahmed Ziyara Khalaf, the lecture included an explanation of the gallbladder's function in the human body, the formation of gallstones, and the surgical management of these stones. It also covered the symptoms associated with cholecystitis and both conservative treatments with medication and nutrition, as well as surgical procedures.
