The Palm Research Center at Basrah University organized a seminar on the historical stages of virus discovery, providing a summary of essential information about viruses.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Naji Salem Jassim, aimed to highlight the importance of studying viruses and viral diseases that affect economic crops and their various modes of transmission.
The seminar included a historical overview of the stages of virus discovery, their structures and diverse forms, their methods of reproduction, and the major diseases they cause in all living organisms (both higher and lower forms).
