University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Symposium on the Impact of Graduation Ceremonies on Decline of Fourth-year Students in their Studies
The College of Administration and Economics in Al-Qurna at University of Basrah organized a scientific symposium entitled "The impact of graduation ceremonies on the decline of fourth-year students in their studies."
The symposium aimed to shed light on the negative effects that may result from organizing graduation ceremonies and other social events on the academic level of fourth-year students, and how they affect the academic performance of students in the last semester before graduation.
The symposium included comprehensive discussions presented by Dr. Arafat Nasir Jasim on the reasons for the decline in students' academic achievement during this sensitive period, reviewing a number of studies and statistics that indicate this phenomenon and its impact.
