Basrah University Organizes a Carnival to Commemorate Resistance Symbols
The College of Education for Women at Basrah University organized a carnival to commemorate the symbols of resistance in Iraq, Palestine, and Lebanon.
The College Dean, Dr. Amal Mohamed Abdel Kareem, stated during her speech at the opening of the carnival, "If nations wish to live with pride and dignity, they must always honor their heroes who sacrificed their lives for their homelands. Today, we stand to immortalize the memory of our martyrs who wrote with their blood the most magnificent pictures of heroism and sacrifice, including the leader Qasem Soleimani, the strategist of victories Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and the Sayyed of the South, Hassan Nasrallah."
She added, "The participation of students in these events is evidence that the leaders left a positive impact on the students, inspiring them to draw strength and determination to achieve victories in various fields from their own positions."
The carnival also featured a theatrical performance by a group of students titled "Hope of Return." They depicted the daily suffering of the Palestinian people under the Israeli war machine, calling on the countries of the world to take responsibility to stop the war on the Palestinian and Lebanese people and bring criminals from the Zionist entity to justice after the International Court of Justice issued arrest warrants against them.
