Basrah University Launches Campaign for Drug Abuse protection
The College of Law at Basrah University has announced the launch of a campaign aimed at preventing the use of psychoactive substances and drugs among students on campus.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Aqeel Al-Dahan, explained that the campaign is organized in collaboration with Basrah Health Directorate. It focuses on protecting the community from the dangers of drugs, building the knowledge and capacities of individuals and families, and enhancing the role of the family in preventing drug use and addiction.
He added that the campaign is part of the college's efforts within its strategy to build the capacity of community members. It aims to instill positive concepts related to the impact of healthy lifestyle choices and strong family relationships in preventing drug use and addiction, as well as helping individuals make informed decisions to avoid these risks.
