Basrah University Organizes a Lecture on the Mechanical Properties of Dental Materials
The College of Dentistry at Basrah University organized a lecture on the mechanical properties of restorative materials used in dentistry.
The lecture aimed to provide an understanding of the fundamental mechanical properties of dentistry biomaterials and how they affect the projected lifespan and effectiveness of the materials post-manufacture.
The lecture, delivered by college lecturer Dr. Rafid Mustafa Badir, included an introduction to these properties and emphasized the importance of each property within the global specifications for dental restorative materials, as they vary depending on the surrounding conditions within the mouth.
