University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on Radioactive Contamination
The College of Dentistry at University of Basrah organized a lecture on radioactive contamination and chemical security.
The lecture aims to identify radioactive contamination, its types, the danger resulting from it, and its impact on workers in laboratories and radiation hazard laboratories for cancer.
The lecture, presented by the college lecturer, Dr. Abdul Rahman Falih, included a statement on the importance of preparing an emergency plan and training for workers, explaining the mechanism of radiation detection, detection devices, and the period of presence in laboratories that contain radioactive sources.
