Basrah University Organizes an Awareness Lecture on Breast Cancer
Basrah and Gulf Studies Center organized an awareness lecture entitled (Breast Cancer and Ways to Treat and Prevent It).
The lecture, presented by Dr. Raya Habeeb Al-Shawi, addressed the most important factors that cause cancer, including environmental causes, unhealthy nutrition, obesity, smoking,and the most important symptoms of the disease, and how to treat it.
The lecture emphasis the need to make tests in order to avoid cancer spread in its early stages, including daily or weekly tests that the in several steps or in specialized centers affiliated with the governorate's health department, with the need to eat healthy meals, free of saturated triglycerides and psychological comfort in accordance with the advice of the famous doctor, Ibn Sina, "Prevention is better than cure."
