For sustainability and environmental impact assessment, Basrah University organizes a course on atmospheric air testing.
The Marine Science Center at Basrah University, in cooperation with the Basra Environment Directorate, organized a course on environmental impact assessment and the examination of air pollutants using the CEREX device for measuring gaseous pollutants.
The course, led by Dr. Bassam Ashour Rashid, Dr. Abdel Amir Raheem Jassim, and Dr. Fadel Neama Abdul Redha, aimed to enhance the training skills of workers in the Basrah Environment Directorate in the field of atmospheric air quality testing.
The course included theoretical and practical lessons on the importance of air testing for the study and assessment of environmental impact, training on the use of the CEREX device to measure gaseous pollutants, and microbial assessment of air inside government institutions.
