Basrah University Organizes a Course on Official Correspondence Style
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at Basra University organized a course on the style of official correspondence.
The course aims to familiarize trainees with how to write both official and non-official letters, how to respond to letters, understand the basic rules of writing, and learn the phrases to follow when drafting templates. It also helps participants recognize linguistic errors to avoid them.
The course, presented by lecturer Areej Karim Rahman, included an understanding of the importance of official writing, the forms and features of official correspondence, the principles to observe when writing letters, the technical aspects of message writing, the regulations of administrative correspondence, and common linguistic errors in writing official letters.
