Basrah University Organizes a Lecture on Alternative Methods for Water Fluoridation
The College of Dentistry at Basrah University organized a lecture on alternative methods for water fluoridation.
The lecture aimed to introduce the use of fluoride in preventing tooth decay and strengthening the enamel, the outer layer of teeth, making it more resistant to decay.
The lecture, presented by instructor Sarah Wadi Hashim, explained that water fluoridation is a successful method for preventing tooth decay. In areas without piped water supplies, such as rural locations, there are alternative methods to provide water with fluoride systematically.
