To Meet Urgent Humanitarian Needs, University of Basrah visits the National Orphans Foundation
The staff from the Polymer Research Center at the University of Basrah visited the National Orphans Foundation.
Regarding the visit, Dr. Zainab Jomaa Suwaij, Director of the Polymer Research Center, said, “Our visit to the foundation was an experience filled with lessons and various emotions. When we arrived, we noticed the atmosphere of affection among the children. They were smiling despite all their past hardships, which deeply affected us. We talked with them, and those moments were filled with innocence and hope. We wanted to make them feel cared for and loved. We were keen to support and stand by them.”
Zainab added, "We provided them with financial and psychological support and tangible gifts and emphasized repeating our voluntary work due to its clear impact on the children. We realized that giving is not measured by money or material things—but by kind words and the time we dedicate to them."
