University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Technological Incubator
The Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah organized an introductory workshop on the functions of the university's technological incubator.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Hind Mahdi Jarallah, aimed to draw the government's attention towards supporting emerging scientific talents and highlighting the importance of technological incubators in communities. These incubators are considered essential scientific tools in advanced countries due to their role in disseminating knowledge and encouraging creative ideas and research.
The workshop included discussions on how technological incubators work, starting from emphasizing entrepreneurship, leadership creation, providing financial support for projects, accessing funding sources, offering legal assistance, and building communication networks among researchers for idea and advice exchange. It concluded with marketing the incubator's products to government institutions, companies, and private projects to contribute to feeding the Iraqi economy with new resources and increasing the national gross domestic product.
