University of Basrah Conducts a Lecture on Facilitation Strategies and Teaching Methods for Unit Five
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra held a course on facilitation strategies and a course on teaching methods for Unit Five for all specialties.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Mustafa Abdulreza Kazem and Dr. Rafid Abduljabbar Muhammad, covered facilitation strategies, teaching methods, feedback, and microlectures. It included an explanation of how lectures are delivered and how to break the fear barrier among students by focusing on scientific content and setting objectives that align with the time available. The lecture provided definitions of strategy, academic activities, types of teaching strategies, and the term "program," which refers to a set of regular and coordinated activities. It also clarified the term "method" and discussed the different types of teaching methods, as well as the terms "model" and "style," and covered introductions, preparations, and conclusions.
