University of Basrah organizes a course on the use of TPA_PCR technology for diagnosing single nucleotide polymorphisms.
The Marine Science Centre at the University of Basrah organized a course on the use of Tetra Primer ARMS_PCR technology for diagnosing single nucleotide polymorphisms.
The course aimed to teach how to design tetra primers for diagnosing single nucleotide polymorphisms without resorting to using restriction enzymes.
The course covered the theoretical aspect related to recognizing single nucleotide polymorphisms, distinguishing them from genetic mutations, and their relationship to health, various diseases, and syndromes in humans and other living organisms. On the practical side, a specific syndrome was selected to design special tetra primers for one of the single nucleotide polymorphisms related to the syndrome.
