The University of Basrah Organizes a Course on Information Security and Data Sharing
The Information and Communications Technology Center at the University of Basrah organized a course on information security and data sharing.
The course aimed to implement the ministerial document concerning the policy and security of information and data sharing in colleges, centers, and service facilities by utilizing the efforts of the university's programming staff.
The course, delivered by lecturer Rafeed Mohammed Khalifa, included an explanation of the nature of information security, its elements, and the major threats it faces. It also covered the systems adopted in various countries to combat cybercrimes, the types of wireless network encryption systems, and the most important methods for protecting internet applications.
