University of Basrah Organizes an Awareness and Guidance Workshop on Mental Disorders Among University Students
The College of Administration and Economics, in collaboration with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at Basrah University, organized an educational guidance workshop entitled "Mental Disorders Among University Students and Their Impact on Academic Performance" in line with the activities of the Guidance Week for the academic year 2024-2025.
The workshop aims to familiarize students with different types of mental disorders and distinguish them from physical disorders.
The workshop, led by lecturer Ban Tawfiq Najm and human development and family guidance trainer Houraa Mohammed Jabr, covered the importance of understanding the psychological and behavioral effects associated with students during their academic life.
