University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Available Information Resources in the Library
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a workshop titled "Available Information Resources in the Library and How to Use Them."
The workshop aimed to introduce new students to the library, familiarize them with borrowing card templates, and explain how to fill them out.
The workshop, delivered by several officials from the college library, covered an introduction to the library, including the quantity and types of resources and the classification methods for available information resources such as books, periodicals, dissertations, and theses, along with various cultural books. It also addressed the methods for searching library materials available and distributed according to the scientific branches within the college, in addition to both internal and external borrowing methods. Internal borrowing involves browsing within the library, while external borrowing requires checking out books using special borrowing cards.
