University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on the Impact of Drugs on Students
The College of Medicine at Basrah University held a lecture addressing the impact of drugs and psychoactive substances on university students.
The lecture aimed to educate attendees about the various types of drugs, methods of prevention, and treatment options.
Presented by Colonel Ali Muhsin Hameed, the legal director of the Directorate of Drug Control and Psychotropic Substances, the session highlighted the dangers of drugs, their effects on society, ways to prevent them, and the legal penalties outlined in Iraqi law for users and traffickers.
