A University Organizes a Symposium on the Role of Universities in Raising Awareness of Human Rights
The College of Dentistry at universities of Basrah organized a symposium on the role of universities in raising awareness of social, cultural and legal human rights.
The symposium aims to clarify human rights in Iraqi society and the role of the university in raising awareness of social and cultural human rights, while highlighting the laws and penalties that result in the event of a violation of human rights between individuals.
The symposium included the presentation of several research papers during which researchers discussed human rights according to Islamic law, as Islam emphasized the principle of human rights in life and respect for this principle in society, and the role of this principle in the interaction between the students themselves and their professors within the university campus.
