Basrah University Organizes Workshop on Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Self-Development
The College of Agriculture at Basrah University organized a workshop on agricultural entrepreneurship and self-development as a pathway towards a sustainable future for Iraq.
The workshop aims to highlight the significance of entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector and encourage the establishment of agricultural projects with innovative ideas to meet the increasing market demands in Basrah.
Dr. Adnan Jabbar Al-Kanaan delivered the workshop, which included an introduction to entrepreneurship, a comparison between start-up projects and traditional projects, and a presentation of 70 small agricultural projects that can be established with minimal investment.
The workshop recommended adopting sustainable agricultural projects in Basrah that utilize modern technology and mechanization to reduce waste of natural resources.
