University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Implementing Climate-Smart Agriculture Projects
The Technology Incubator Unit in the College of Agriculture, Basrah University, organized a workshop on implementing climate-smart agricultural projects.
The workshop aimed to implement climate-smart agriculture projects in fields suffering from drought and soil infertility in southern Iraq.
Dr. Muhsin Abdul Hay Desher delivered the workshop, which focused on implementing an integrated control and fertilization program in greenhouses and open fields using modern, eco-friendly technologies.
The workshop recommended utilizing modern climatic technologies that aid in post-harvest marketing processes of plant and animal products based on appropriate scientific and technical standards, contributing to the reduction of waste and damage to agricultural products.
