University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Successful Agricultural Projects as Part of Success Stories
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on successful agricultural projects by the college’s graduates, as part of the events concluding the Global Entrepreneurship Week.
The seminar aimed to guide graduates and students towards launching entrepreneurial projects that serve the agricultural sector in the province, develop their skills, and utilize the expertise they gained during their studies to implement these projects in a scientific manner.
The seminar provided a comprehensive explanation of these projects and the challenges they faced during the initial stages of implementation. This segment included discussions by three graduates in areas such as the establishment of a multi-purpose agricultural nursery, the creation and development of fish farming cages using modern technologies, and experience in entrepreneurship and financial education as accredited by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, along with training in the "Savvy" program, and drafting projects for starts-up and medium-sized enterprises.
