A Master's Thesis at Basrah University Examines the First Battle of Kosovo 1389 AD
A master's thesis at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah examined the First Battle of Kosovo 1389 AD, a historical study.
The thesis aims to identify the events of that important battle, many of whose events were shrouded in mystery and its great repercussions on the warring parties and the countries of the world at the end of the Middle Ages, and how that battle paved the way for opening the doors of Europe to Ottoman progress.
The thesis submitted by the student Asmaa Falah Hassan included three chapters in which she examined the Ottoman-Serbian conflict over the Byzantine regions and areas 1341-1389 AD, the military preparations for the First Battle of Kosovo 1389 AD, the balance of power between the two warring parties, the course of the battle, its results, and the international position on it.
