The seminar, delivered by the lecturer Fadheela Qasim Salih, addressed three main objectives; The first one addressed the concept of bullying as an aggressive behavior aimed at psychological harm, often verbal, and sometimes accompanied by physical assault or threat. As for the second one, it reviewed the types of bullying, which are: verbal, physical, social, racist, and electronic, stressing the importance of protecting the rights of bullying victims and compensating them for the psychological or physical damage they have suffered. Finally, the third and most important one was devoted to the pivotal role of the family in building the individual's moderate personality.
The symposium recommended the importance of raising awareness of the dangers of bullying in society, especially in the field of social media and with people with special needs.
