University of Basrah Organizes Lecture on the Effects of Addiction
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on addiction, drug prevention, and their negative effects on society.

It also covered strategies for preventing this dangerous affliction and identified the societal segments most affected by drugs.
Dr. Abbas Juma Al-Sudani, who led the lecture, provided insights into the definition of drugs, their impact on society, and the different types of drugs, focusing on the most prevalent ones. He also discussed how families can recognize drug addiction within their households and the legal implications thereof.
