University of Basrah Organizes Symposium on Entrepreneurship
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a symposium on the concept and importance of entrepreneurship.
The symposium aimed to introduce the concept of entrepreneurship through investment activities.
It included two lectures presented by Dr. Nizar Abdul Mohsen Jaafar and Dr. Naima Latif Abdullah. They outlined the motives and reasons for engaging in entrepreneurship, such as creating job opportunities and developing businesses, especially in developing countries facing high unemployment rates. Additionally, they discussed the establishment of private companies and the employment of local labor.
