University of Basrah Celebrates Victory Day Over ISIS Terrorist Organization
The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a celebration on the occasion of Victory Day over ISIS terrorist organization.
The ceremony included playing the national anthem and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the souls of the martyrs of Iraq from the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces. Then, the Dean of the College, Dr. Aqil Fadhel Al-Dahan, delivered a speech in which he recalled the sacrifices of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives and pure blood in defense of the land and the holy sites.
During his speech, he praised the role of the armed forces in all its branches and formations, who wrote the most wonderful heroic epics on the battlefields and taught the enemies a lesson in sacrifice and defense of Iraq. He also urged students to draw lessons from this occasion.
