University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on the Bologna Process
The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University of Basrah organized a workshop entitled (Requirements for Implementing Quality in the Bologna Process) with the participation of quality officials in the included colleges and specialized committees.
The workshop aims to implement the mechanism for ensuring the quality of education and learning with the Bologna Process in Iraqi universities to improve the academic level in them and ensure their entry into the international rankings.
The workshop, which was lectured by the Head of the Quality Assurance Department, Dr. Ammar Salman Dawood, and the Head of the Technical Training Unit, Duaa Shahid Habib, addressed the quality assurance guidelines that must be adopted in the Bologna process and discussed the mechanism for quality education and learning in academic institutions, in addition to how to write a quality assurance report by the educational institution.
The Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, Dr. Abdul-Karim Taher Yasser, stated that the Bologna Process seeks to establish a framework for unifying education and learning systems and unifying the educational structure to obtain international recognition of certificates and provide the labor market with matching specializations.
