University of Basrah female students win the volleyball championship cup and the male students advance to the final matches.
Dr. Ghassan Al-Bajari, Director of the Student Activities Department at Basrah University, stated, "The Basra University women's team was crowned first place in volleyball after their well-deserved victory over the University of Misan team with two sets to none in the Southern Region qualifiers, held under the auspices of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority at the halls of Basra University and the Southern Technical University. Meanwhile, the men's team qualified to face the University of Al-Ain team in the final match of the men's championship."
Al-Bajari added, "We congratulate our beloved university on this victory, which is a significant addition to its record of continuously successful activities. God willing, the men's team will be victorious when they meet their rival, the University of Al-Ain team, in the final match after a journey of qualifiers that included nine competing private and public universities."
