The Center for Development and Continuous Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on the distinction between morals and the ethics of the teaching profession for the agricultural and veterinary specializations, as part of the sixth unit in the teaching methods course.
The lecture aims to enhance the morals and ethics of the teaching profession, which should positively reflect on teaching methodologies and how they are adhered to according to the standards and principles they encompass for the trainees.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Mais Basel Khalil, included defining the concept of morals and the ethics of the teaching profession, and the difference between them. The lecture highlighted the importance of professional ethics for individuals and society, and addressed the principles of teaching profession ethics, its ethical characteristics, and the code of conduct, along with how to instill professional ethics.
