For Sustainability in Clean Energy, University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on Renewable Energies
The Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on the sources and uses of renewable energies to support sustainable development goals in energy.
The lecture, presented by instructor Mazin Abdul Hussain Badan, aimed to enhance the academic community's knowledge of the environmentally friendly benefits of renewable energy and its use as an alternative to costly traditional energy sources.
The lecture included clarifying various types of energy such as wind energy, solar energy, tidal energy, and their practical applications in industrial, agricultural, transportation, and energy sectors, along with discussing the financial costs and economic feasibility of adopting them as a successful practical alternative.
