University of Basrah Organizes Lecture on Ethics and Professional Conduct in Medical Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on ethics and professional conduct for the medical specialization as part of the teaching methodologies course.
The lecture aimed to raise awareness of behaviors that contradict the ethics of the teaching profession for trainees.
Presented by Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood, the lecture covered principles and ethics of the teaching profession, codes of conduct, and the duties of the professor towards the student. It also discussed the relationships between university professors on campus with their colleagues and staff.
The lecture recommended adherence to the ethics of the teaching profession in terms of the professor's relationship with students and colleagues, and the rejection of behaviors that contradict these ethics.
