For Sustainability and Environmental Development, the University of Basrah Organizes a Session on Environmental Pollution and Its Economic Costs
The Basra and Gulf Studies Center at the University of Basrah organized a discussion session on the challenges and damages of environmental pollution and its economic costs in Iraq.
The session, presented by lecturer Taghreed Qasim Mohammed, discussed environmental pollution as one of the most prominent issues of the 21st century and the technological and technical development of human civilization. It addressed forms of pollution from radiation, dust, and greenhouse gases, the economic costs of removing harmful factors, Iraq's stance on agreements to reduce global warming, and the practical steps taken to address pollution sources.
