To Preserve Community Health: University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Lecture on Oral and Dental Health
The General Secretariat of the Central Library, in collaboration with the Center for Persian Studies and Teaching at the University of Basrah, organized a scientific lecture on oral and dental health, focusing on prevention and home care methods.
The lecture, presented by specialist Dr. Sundus Abdul-Wadud, aimed to raise awareness among the academic community about the importance of maintaining general health, especially oral and dental health, as they are the first line of defense against various diseases entering the body through breathing, food, or drinks.
The lecture included a detailed explanation of oral and dental diseases such as tooth decay, ailments of the palate and gums, dental implantation methods, and harmful personal habits affecting oral and dental health.
