University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on The Quality of Education, the Seventh Unit of The Engineering Specialization
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on the quality of education, the seventh unit of the engineering specialization, as part of the teaching methods course.
The lecture aims to identify the implementation of total quality management initiatives and help in general to improve operations and explore a set of solutions to problems, and experiment with them in a controllable way.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Auday Basheer Issa, included a detailed explanation of the concepts of quality related to quality control and quality assurance as follows: Pareto char chart, SWOT analysis, PDCA continuous improvement cycle, and ISO certification.
The lecture recommended the necessity of comprehensive application of quality in education by conducting a cause and effect analysis for all problems and finding appropriate solutions.
