For Sustainable Development in the Environment and Increasing Natural Resources .. University of Basrah Organizes a Symposium on the Role of Applied Sciences in Combating Pollution
The Polymer Research Center at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Science, organized a scientific symposium entitled "Scientific Horizons and Environmental Challenges: The Role of Applied Sciences in Combating Environmental Pollution".
The symposium addressed ways to address environmental pollution in Basra, such as waste treatment, sanitary landfills, and recycling plastic waste, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between governmental and academic institutions at the level of research, planning, and exchange of expertise in the field of managing and treating environmental pollution.
