University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on the Ban of the Baath Party
The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on the law banning the Baath Party and political and terrorist organizations.
The seminar aimed to emphasize the criminalization of affiliation with the Baath Party and terrorist regimes according to the Iraqi Criminal Court Law of 2005 and the enforcement of the ban on it and all related activities.
The seminar, led by Musa Ali Musa, Head of the Party Division at the Basra Election Office, and several experts, highlighted the need to understand the de-Baathification law and to intensify seminars to introduce Law No. 23 of 2016. It also aimed to raise awareness among new generations about the crimes and symbols of the Baath Party and terrorism.
