For the purpose of sustainable development in preserving life underwater, the University of Basrah is organizing a lecture on the optimal methods for catching marine fish schools.
In line with the University of Basrah's implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Program, the Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on the optimal methods for catching schools of marine fish.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Mohammed Abdul Redha Al-Doughji, explained the types and forms of fish schools found in the seas and how to achieve efficiency in fishing to provide food for human communities while maintaining the sustainability of their biological diversity underwater. This can be achieved by following modern methods, including the use of marine sonar technology (Garmin KF 667) to search for and catch various marine fish.
