University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Visit to Knights Academy
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a scientific trip to the Knights of Al-Mulla Academy as part of the applied education series for first-year students.
The visit aimed to acquaint students with the types and breeds of purebred horses and how to raise and manage them in terms of feeding and care.
The visit included a tour of the academy's facilities, viewing the stables and areas prepared for cultivating fodder to feed the horses, and learning how to train and prepare them for participation in local competitions. Additionally, the visit included learning about the major diseases that can afflict horses and methods of treatment.
